Karen Yang's celebrity status started in 2006 after being crowned as Miss Asia International. She soon got serious in modeling and made it her career. In the 2006 the 18th Miss Asia International Pageant, Karen won the 1st Place of USA and 2nd Place of the Final World Competition.

Since Karen Yang discovered her passion in modeling, she is willing to work hard and travel. Karen is open to modeling other than solely high fashion as well. But she indicates that she will never do any nude modeling.
