M'pressions

Greetings all,

My name is Christy and I’m a professional makeup artist and hair stylist based out of Hollywood California, as well as the lead makeup artist at M’Pressions Makeup. I started off doing makeup for my clients when I was a photographer, so it came as a natural progression for me when I decided to change professions.

I’ve worked with some of the best and most talented models and photographers around, covering everything from glamor and beauty to Gothic, character, fashion, fantasy and pinup photography. I also have an extensive list of credits for film and television production as well as live events, music videos, commercials, art photography and more. I’m totally mad about pin ups and retro fashion shoots, I just love everything about them!

Currently I’m working with a core group of artists to expand my portfolio, but I’m always looking to collaborate on interesting projects that will create some truly stunning imagery. I feel my job as an MUA is to facilitate what the photographer or models are looking for and not to impose my own brand or style, unless asked for. I’m creative, easy going, professional, punctual and even though this is my job, I LOVE doing it!

I hold professional affiliations with most of the major cosmetic companies around the world and also have access to a team of superior artists who can help to facilitate almost any size job you can think of. If you have any questions concerning bookings or appointments please don’t hesitate to contact me. My schedule has a habit of filling up quite quickly so the sooner you get in touch with me to lock down a date the better. Paid gigs will always take top priority, however I also do select TF work on a project by project basis, or as time allows.
