This is a music video about the changing roles of Asian women. From outdated stereotypes to modern day realities. The song, Asia Girl was written over 20 years ago by Roger Legel and performed and recorded by Back Alley Blues Band in 1996. The four women who are featured represent four distinct nationalities; Japanese, Korean, Pacific Islander and Chinese. Filming started in September of 2011 and continued until February of 2012.
